AI Architect & Consulting
After 12 hours, an attendee can take a company from first interviews to a defended AI plan: prioritised use cases, a data readiness plan, a reference architecture with its agent orchestration, and a compliance and cost case a sponsor can approve.
For senior engineers, architects and consultants who get asked what to deploy, what it costs and whether it clears the EU AI Act.

What you build
A complete consulting package: assessment, data readiness plan, reference architecture, governance and cost model.
One case company across the four classes: the assessment picks the lead use case, the data readiness plan fixes its sources, the architecture is designed on those decisions, and the compliance and cost case closes with a one-page go/no-go summary.

The four classes
1. AI Consulting & Assessments
By the end, the attendee can produce an AI assessment of the case company, with an evidence-based maturity score (six dimensions: strategy, data, technology, people and skills, governance, operating model), a prioritised use-case portfolio and a 12-month roadmap, from interview transcripts and company documents, using the track templates and an AI assistant.
You leave with: AI Assessment & Roadmap, about 5 to 8 pages in Markdown, naming the top three use cases and one lead use case with its KPI and the data it needs. Five-minute yes/no check.
2. Data-Driven AI
By the end, the attendee can produce a data readiness plan for the lead use case that lists every source, scores its readiness, chooses how the AI will reach it (retrieval, structured query or tool/API) and lists the preparation work, from the case company's data inventory and sample data.
You leave with: Data Readiness Plan: sources, readiness, access pattern per source, sensitivity flags and a golden evaluation set. Five-minute yes/no check. Director's working title: 'Data-Driven AI: Company Data Ready for AI'.
3. System Design: AI Architecture & Agents
By the end, the attendee can produce and defend a reference architecture for the lead use case (C4 context and container diagrams, an agent orchestration design, build vs buy decisions and an LLMOps plan at design level) recorded as Architecture Decision Records.
You leave with: Reference Architecture with C4 diagrams and ADRs, plus a component and data-flow inventory (model per step, hosting, vendors, where personal data goes). Five-minute yes/no check.
4. Data Governance, Compliance & AI Economics
By the end, the attendee can produce a compliance and cost case for the lead use case: its EU AI Act classification and GDPR obligations mapped to architecture components with the evidence an auditor would ask for, and a unit-cost model with a 12-month budget forecast and optimisation levers, in the track cost template.
You leave with: Compliance & Cost Case, plus the one-page executive summary with a go/no-go recommendation that closes the final project. Five-minute yes/no check. Scope under refinement for v2.
Stack
No code. C4 diagrams, Architecture Decision Records, a cost-model template, and the EU AI Act, GDPR and ISO 42001 as the frameworks.

Questions about this track
Do I need to write code?
No. You work with an AI assistant (Claude Pro or ChatGPT Plus), diagram tools in the browser and a spreadsheet. The artifacts are documents, diagrams and a cost model.
Can I work on my own company instead of the case?
Yes, with non-confidential material only. Teachers check it against the same checklist as the supplied case, a fictional mid-size European manufacturer.
Does the track cover the EU AI Act?
Yes. The last class classifies the lead use case under the EU AI Act, maps its GDPR obligations to the architecture, and lists the evidence an auditor would ask for.
