Code of Conduct

GenAI Workshop Fest is a hands-on learning event. We want everyone to learn, ask, build and share in a space that is safe and respectful. This code applies to every attendee, teacher, track director, sponsor, volunteer and staff member, at the venue (ADEIT, València), in the online channels of the event and at any related social activity.

What we expect

  • Treat everyone with respect. Different levels of experience, backgrounds and opinions are the point of a workshop.
  • Help the class run: arrive on time, bring your laptop set up as your track requires, and follow the instructions of the teachers and the staff.
  • Respect other people's work: ask before recording someone's screen or code, and credit what you reuse.
  • Be careful with photos and video of other people: if someone asks not to appear, honour it. How the organiser handles its own event photography is described in the privacy policy.

What we do not accept

  • Harassment of any kind: offensive comments related to gender, identity, orientation, disability, appearance, race, religion or nationality; intimidation; stalking; unwanted photography or recording; unwelcome physical contact or sexual attention.
  • Sustained disruption of classes or preventing others from learning.
  • Endangering anyone's safety, including through misuse of the venue's facilities.
  • Recruiting, selling or promotional activity outside the spaces agreed with the organiser.

How to report a problem

If you experience or witness a problem, tell any member of staff on site (they wear a staff badge) or write to support@genaiworkshopfest.com. Reports are handled in confidence by My Tech Plan, S.L., the organiser. We will listen, act promptly and tell you what we did.

Consequences

The organiser may warn the person, ask them to leave a session, or refuse or withdraw access to the event. In the case of serious misconduct the ticket is not refunded, as set out in the ticket terms of sale. Serious cases may be reported to venue security or to the authorities.
